Background
Letting go, in several ways at once. First the body: a few long sighs, tensing and releasing, and an old relaxation method that goes layer by layer – skin, muscles, bones – letting each one soften and melt like ice turning into water. Then the mind: naming what you're carrying, setting it down, and resting in open, quiet space. For the evening, after a hard day, or whenever you're holding on too tight.
